I'm pretty sure this was on "Michelob Presents Night Music" with David Sanborn that ran late at night on Fridays or Saturdays. I know that I ran out after hearing this and bought the album and then backtracked my way through the rest of his catalog. This song made me a Miles Davis fan for life.
